Limbo is an alternate dimension that the player is teleported to after they are seen by a Monolith, use an Unstable Door too frequently, or die in a pocket dimension.
The dimension shares a lot of similarities with vanilla Minecraft's End dimension, featuring a dark, barren landscape made of Unraveled Fabric with patches of Ancient Fabric towards the bottom, populated by nothing but Monoliths. Fall damage is also not present.

Appearance[]
The dimension is dark, sky is gray, featuring a giant open Monolith eye in place of the sun, and a closed one in place of the moon.
1.17+: 500-600 blocks sky is blue.
Monoliths[]
Monoliths are large, rectangular mobs featuring a single red eye. Their eye appears closed normally, but will slowly begin to open when the player approaches. Once fully open, it will teleport the player to a random location within Limbo.
However, their teleportation can be avoided in a few ways. The first is being in creative mode, and the second block their line of sight to the player.

The red Ancient Fabric at the bottom of Limbo is actually a way out. Make your way to the bottom while avoiding Monoliths, as they will send you to a random location in Limbo, possibly resetting your progress. Once you find some Ancient Fabric, step on it. In Limbo, this acts as an "exit" from the dimension, teleporting you to the exit. Dying in the dimension will NOT allow the player to escape, falling into the void will spawn you again in limbo at a random location. |
